BRAKE
PADS
Brake pad
is a very important safety component in a vehicle braking system. A vehicle in
motion is fully dependent on the front brake pads and rear pad/shoes to bring
the vehicle to a safe stop at any speed. It is very important that the brake
pad quality has consistent coefficient of friction performance at any braking
temperature.
FBK
non-asbestos organic and semi-metallic, are trusted quality materials for
vehicle application of all makes and models, with or without ABS.

BONDED
SHOES
Bonded brake shoes
are fitted in drum brake system, normally at the rear for standard sedan, while
the front is fitted with disc pad. Most light commercial vehicle uses bonded
shoes for both front and rear braking systems. Braking performance for drum
brake is not as responsive as disc pad, but safer for light commercial vehicles
which carry heavy loads. Bonded shoe means the friction lining is bonded to the
metal shoe with a very special adhesive and heat cured. The lining cannot be
detached from the metal shoe in any working condition.
It is very important that the front and rear brake components has compatible
friction material grade for a safer stop. FBK is the largest bonded
brake shoe manufacturer in the country, and the only OE supplier of bonded shoe
to the national car - PROTON

TRUCK
LINING
Truck lining is friction material
composite mould to fit the curvature of the brake drum and riveted to the brake
shoe. The worn out friction lining can be removed from the drum brake shoe by
de-riveting, which means, the steel shoe is reusable, unlike the bonded shoe
which is not reusable.
FBK produces
outstanding heavy-duty quality truck lining using Japanese technology for both
Asbestos and Non-asbestos material.
